SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE FINANCIAL SECTOR

The analysis of business relationships with foreign nationals and foreign corporations and the screening of individuals and companies to ensure integrity. PRM will:

  • Examine established and proposed relationships with foreign corporations and individuals to detect patterns of illegality.
  • Conduct background checks on companies and individuals. This will include verification of biographic information; a criminal record check; a civil litigation check; verification of licenses and academic claims; face-to-face interviews with persons and their references; and public record searches.
  • Vet persons and companies with their contacts.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and recommend internet-based solutions to thwart criminal exploitation of financial networks.

The design and implementation of due diligence "know your customer" protocols to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations. PRM will:

  • Emphasize self-reporting in conjunction with third party review.
  • Interview key staff members both at corporate headquarters and in the field.
  •  Review and analyze existing records to determine if there has been a lack of due diligence or if there is any evidence of money laundering.
  • Identify and chart cash flow through client institutions.
  • Identify the modus operandi of "insiders" abusing the financial institution.
  • Train employees on money laundering detection techniques.
  • Conduct seminars on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations.
  • Synergize the expertise of former law enforcement officers with the client's business expertise.
  • Provide expert testimony.

Independent, third party identification and validation of existing policies to prevent employee misconduct and/or manipulation by outsiders. PRM will:

  • Perform periodic, unannounced reviews testing the effectiveness of compliance programs both domestically and overseas.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations.
  • Interview staff and vendors on compliance issues.
  • Review training and internal documents to ensure they provide appropriate guidance.
  • Analyze the client's current posture and exposure vis-à-vis law and regulations.
  • In conjunction with the client, work to eliminate any such exposure detected.
